Churches monitoring group pays courtesy call on the AU ECOSOCC Zambia

The Churches Election Monitoring Group from Africa paid a courtesy call on the AU ECOSOCC Zambia. The group called upon the continental body to support peace and security in Africa during elections.

The Churches monitoring Group urged Zambia to respect election results to ensure peace and security in the country. It praised Zambia for having a record of maintaining peace and stability in Africa. The Continental body was excited to be in Zambia and monitor elections.

The entourage included Father Chikoya (The Churches Council of Zambia General Secretary), Rev. Dr Lesmore Gibson Ezekiel (Director of Programs, All Africa Conference of Churches – Nairobi Kenya) and Charles Berahimo (Executive Secretary – All Africa Council of Churches)
